Multi-pass peeling of stainless steel round bars from Ø70 to Ø300 mm. Each pass removes scale, surface defects and size to precise diameter tolerance.

Straightening

Common Questions About Our Services

What diameters can you peel?

Ø70 mm to Ø300 mm on our peeling machines, bars up to 9 m long. Straightening and polishing covers Ø70–180 mm.

Do you do multi-pass peeling?

Yes. Large reductions (e.g. Ø200 → Ø150) are done in 2–4 passes of 7–15 mm each, with measurement between every pass.

Which SS grades do you process?

SS 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 303 and 400 Series (410, 420, 430). We handle the difficult grades most job workers refuse.

What is the surface finish after peeling?

Typically Ra 1.6–3.2 µm after peeling. Belt polishing takes this down to Ra 0.4 µm or mirror finish on request.

How long does a batch take?

Quotation within 2 hours. Typical 5,000 kg batch processed and dispatched in 5 working days from material receipt.
